ATP’s Backyard Bash is BACK!
Join us for ATP’s BACKYARD BASH: a summertime fundraising event featuring a performance of Martin Bellemare’s play, The Ballad of Georges Boivin starring Duval Lang!
Enjoy a summertime backyard party with ATP! Mix and mingle with other theatre fans and ATP supporters, and take in a special backyard presentation of The Ballad of Georges Boivin.

This event will take place in a residential backyard in the community of Mount Royal. The exact address will be emailed out to attendees a few days prior to the event.
Tickets
Tickets will be available for purchase until Wednesday, August 26 at 4:00pm MT.
Friday, August 28
Doors at 5:00pm, performance begins at 6:30pm.
Saturday, August 29
Arrive at 5:00pm for pre-show beverages and appetizers, performance begins at approximately 6:30pm.
This special Saturday evening performance includes pre- and post-show appetizers from Black Apron Cuisine, beer and wine (ages 18+ only), and the chance to mingle with the cast after the show!

The Ballad of George Boivin

At 77, Georges Boivin decides to “give the dice a roll.” Georges just lost his wife, the “centre of his universe.” But there is life after 70, and it must continue even after great loss. With his three friends, all older than he, he sets out on a cross-country road trip from Québec to Vancouver, in search of his first love who he hasn’t seen in 50 years.
A tour-de-force solo show starring Duval Lang, The Ballad of George Boivin is a heart-warming story by award-winning Montreal playwright Martin Bellemare that challenges the myths and assumptions around aging.
